Almost Heaven: Songs of John Denver at Timber Lake Playhouse was the second show Chris music directed out in the woods in Mt. Carroll. This show was directed by Courtney Crouse and featured Roy Brown, Adam Fane, Harmony France,

Carly Glenn, Anthony Norman and Amelia Parish.

"Chris Logan had an excellent cast and instrumentalists for this Denver tribute, but the show was given life by the dynamics of the musicality and the passion in the vocals – hallmarks of the work of an excellent music director."

Nathan Goodrich, Blake Price, Lexie Plath and many others.

"Musical direction by Chicago-based Christopher Logan was key to the success of this show. The diction was clearly delivered and moved the lyrics, whether solo or group, along to a complete understanding of the tale."
